Do you waterproof showers before tiling? +
Yes, always. Every shower we build gets a proper waterproofing membrane — typically Schluter KERDI — applied to the walls, floor, and all transitions before any tile goes up. Cement board alone is not a waterproofing layer. As a Schluter Certified and Mapei Certified installer, we spec and apply these systems to manufacturer standards on every project.
Do you install large-format tile? +
Yes. We install 24×48, 32×32, and larger rectified porcelain tiles using tile leveling systems and properly flattened substrates. We carry a Raimondi PIKUS 130 large-format tile saw for accurate cuts on oversized pieces. Large-format tile demands more preparation and precision than standard tile — we have the tools and experience to do it correctly.
Do you install heated bathroom floors? +
Yes. We install DITRA-HEAT electric radiant heating systems under bathroom tile. The membrane uncouples tile from the subfloor to protect against movement while the heating cables keep the floor warm. We install the full system — membrane, cables, and thermostat connection — then tile directly over it.
