Orleans Bath and Tile is a bathroom renovation and tile installation company based in Orleans, Ontario. We work exclusively in the east end of Ottawa — Orleans, Cumberland, Navan, Gloucester, Rockland, and the surrounding area.
This isn't a side business. Tile is all we do, and we do it at a level that most general contractors can't match because they're spread across too many trades. We know waterproofing systems, thinset chemistry, large format installation technique, Schluter product lines, and the specific challenges of building a bathroom assembly that stays intact for decades.
When you hire us, the person who quotes your project does your project. No handoff to a crew you've never met. No subcontractors. The same level of attention at installation that you got at the estimate.
The Standards We Hold Every Project To
Waterproofing on Every Wet Area
Not cement board — a membrane system. Kerdi, liquid-applied, or DITRA depending on the application. No wet area leaves our hands without a real waterproof barrier behind the tile.
Substrate Before Tile
We don't tile over problems. If the subfloor is soft, the backer is wrong, or the shower slope is insufficient, we correct it before the first tile goes down. The work nobody sees is what makes the work everyone sees last.
Honest Communication
If a repair will solve your problem, we'll repair it. If a rebuild is what it needs, we'll tell you that upfront — not after we're three days in. You'll always know exactly what we're doing and why.
Clean, Respectful Job Sites
Your home gets treated like one. We protect adjacent flooring, contain dust, and leave the space clean at the end of every day. A renovation is already disruptive — we work to minimize it.
Schluter Certified
DITRA, DITRA-HEAT, Kerdi, Kerdi-Band, and the full Schluter profile line. Certified training means we spec the right system for each application — not whatever's easiest to install.
Realistic Timelines
We tell you how long a project will take and we hit that timeline. If something unexpected comes up — and in renovation work, sometimes it does — you hear about it immediately, not after it's caused a delay.
The Training Behind the Work
Certifications aren't just credentials — they're evidence of investment in doing the work correctly. Here's what we've trained and tested on:
- Schluter Certified — DITRA, DITRA-HEAT, Kerdi waterproofing systems, and the full Schluter profile line
- Waterproofing Systems — Membrane installation, wet area assembly design, drain slope and movement joint requirements
- Large Format Tile — Substrate flatness requirements, back-buttering technique, leveling system installation
- Heated Floor Systems — DITRA-HEAT cable installation, ohm testing, thermostat coordination
